Do you hear that? It’s faint.. With a slight harmony.. Slowly building up. That’s Super Gremlin by Kodak Black assertively being turned up on every speaker throughout the Bay Area (A ton of speakers across LA as well).

The San Francisco 49ers finally end the summer drama saga and sign Deebo Samuel to a 3 year deal worth $73.5 Million / $58.1 Guaranteed. I personally tweeted at John Lynch close to 20x this offseason to sign the man who captivated audiences around the country after a monstrous breakout season in 2021. Deebo was 1/1 last year, finishing the season with 1,405 receiving yards / 365 rushing yards / 14 Total TD’s.

Contract hype is always a two way street no matter how much a fan base enjoys it, right now the emotions are flowing, and for good reason. It’s still important for us to remember that nobody has a crystal ball, nobody knows what an athlete is going to look like in a couple years. Deebo clearly wanted to wait out the market here, and the guaranteed money shows it. Fellow big name WR's AJ Brown and DK Metcalf also received well deserved big $ extensions this offseason with agent Tory Dandy. As much as i hate that guy, he's done a hell of a job representing his players this offseason.

We saw a trade request, a viral club video, and a training camp hold in. The fan base was in shambles with Jimmy Garoppolo drama also dwelling over the upcoming season. Yet the coach/manager duo that brought us out of the cellar figured it out. Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch have started off the young camp with a bang as they have finally cemented the offensive outlook and now have Trey Lance and Deebo Samuel fully ready to roll.

The Contract itself is worth a cool $23.9 million per year and will have Deebo Samuel inked to San Francisco until he’s 29 in 2025. The other big bonus to him waiting out his 3 year contract is the willingness/need to play at the highest level as a receiver so he can receive another bag before turning 30. I personally thought he would’ve gone for a 4-5 year deal as he’s already 26, but this is truly a bet on himself, something that completely resembles his play style. We will likely see more details come out over the next few days but one thing is certain, if Trey Lance is real this will be one of the most exciting offensive units in the league.

I’d lastly like to shout out the entire Cowboys fan base, AJ Terrell’s mouthpiece, Dan Orlovsky, The Packers (when it's snowing), whoever is supposed to tackle on screen passes for the Bears, Cordarelle Patterson, Jamal Adams, and finally… #99 on the Rams.

Enjoy this video of Deebo dominating in 2021, Go Niners.
