New Orleans Saints (5-3) @ Tennessee Titans (7-2)

James: Titans

This game is crucial for the Saints to see if they are legit contenders without QB1 Jameis Winston on the field. Trevor Semien was better than I personally anticipated last week finishing with 249 yards and 2 TD’s. They’ll need a massive game out of him and the receiving core as Alvin Kamara is expected to miss week 10. The Titans have won 5 straight games, 4 off of legit playoff contenders. Derrick Henry is out and their offense was significantly less effective last week but their defense made up for it with 2 INT’s including a pick 6. Tennessee has a very favorable schedule after this matchup at home, making their playoff chances very high halfway through the year.

Cleveland Browns (5-4) @ New England Patriots (5-4)

Lines: NE -2 / O/U 45

Patrick: Patriots

Ryan: Browns

James: Patriots -2

Cleveland picked up a massive division win last week in Cincinnati, putting up 41. Nick Chubb made his presence felt from the jump, finishing with 137 and 2 TD’s with an insane 9.8 yards per carry. The Browns defense has been swarming all season, allowing the third least yards per game in the league. New England has surprised me all season. The Pats are currently on a 3 game winning streak, allowing just 14.3 points per game during that run. Mac Jones has done an excellent job facilitating the offense thus far as he’s on pace for 4,000 yards and a potential playoff appearance in year 1.

Minnesota Vikings (3-5) @ Los Angeles Chargers (5-3)

Lines: LAC -3 / O/U 53

Maher- Chargers

vince- Chargers

Nick : Chargers

Zach: Chargers

Patrick: Chargers -3

Ryan: Chargers -3

James: Chargers

The Vikings are a very solid team and their record doesn’t reflect it. One area in particular has been defending in the redzone, giving up TD’s at a 68% rate inside the 20. The Vikings boast a top tier receiving core and a huge rushing threat in Dalvin Cook. Kirk Cousins has an impressive 16 TD’s to 2 INT’s, they’ll need his efficiency to keep up if they want to steal one on the road. The Chargers have a feared offensive attack led by 23 year old Justin Herbert. He’s throwing for the 4th most yards per game and is on pace for a massive season. The Chargers main flaw this year has been run defense as they allow by far the most rushing yards per game at over 160.

Seattle Seahawks (3-5) @ Green Bay Packers (7-2)

Lines: GB -3.5 // O/U 49.5

Maher-Seahawks

Vince- Packers

Nick: Packers

Zach: Packers

Patrick: Seahawks

Ryan: Seahawks

James: Packers

The Seahawks 12th man is finally going to get that sigh of relief with QB1 Russell Wilson stepping back into the huddle (not weird fake pregame huddle) this week. This Seattle team has been hard to judge this far but they are in a tough spot heading into the midway point of the season with a 3-5 record. The Packers were also missing their QB1 last week and hope to have him back by Sunday. The Green Bay offense was stagnant last week with 2020 1st round pick Jordan Love, putting up just 7 points against a Chiefs defense that has gotten beat up this season. If both QB’s are back in we’ll be in for a good ol’ shootout.

Kansas City Chiefs (5-4) @ Las Vegas Raiders (5-3)

Lines: KC -2.5 // O/U 52

Maher- Chiefs

Vince- Raiders

Nick: Chiefs

Zach; Chiefs

Patrick: Raiders

Ryan: Chiefs

James: Chiefs

This AFC West battle is going to be a dog fight on Sunday Night Football. Patrick Mahomes and this Chiefs offense hasn’t resembled anything we’ve seen out of Kansas City in the last 4 years. Even after a big 7 point defensive performance last week they’re still allowing 25.2 points per game. It’s hard for me to just quit on their offense, but if they continue to turn the ball over more than any other team in the league it’ll be hard to win games. The Raiders off the field issues have unfortunately overshadowed a fantastic start on the field for Vegas this season. Derek Carr and his offense have the 2nd most pass yards per game. Their latest loss to an injury riddled Giants squad is concerning but hopefully the addition of De’Sean Jackson will help continue to spread the field.

San Francisco 49ers (3-5) @ Los Angeles Rams (7-2)

Lines: LAR -4.0 / OU 49

Maher- Rams

Vince- Rams

Nick: Rams

Zach: Rams

Patrick: 49ers

Ryan: 49ers

James: 49ers

The 49ers have got to be one of the more stunning 3-5 starts in recent memory. The Red and Gold have fumbled the ball away 8 times this season and have been getting torched downfield. The penalties have been plaguing San Francisco, especially on third down. Elijah Mitchell and Deebo Samuel have been studs so far, keeping them heavily involved will help Shanahan avoid an awful 3-6 start. The Rams have been teasing the debut of newly acquired Odell Beckham Jr. at home this week. They’re coming off a brutal loss against Tennessee and would love to end their losing streak to SF. Matt Stafford has been one of the best in the league so far, meshing right in with the contending Rams.
