We have a ton of funky QB matchups this week, starting off with none other than Tyler Huntley v. Kenny Pickett. Believe it or not Kenny Pickett has been extremely efficient through the Steelers last 4 games, leading them to a 3-1 record. Throwing 128 passes in a row without recording an interception, the second longest streak in the NFL. The other side features yet another devastatingly injured Ravens squad. Huntley stepped in quite comfortably last week in their ugly victory. He led them in both passing and rushing yards last week and finished with a 84.4 completion % on 32 throws. The sub 40 over/under gives you a hint on how far Vegas is in on a defensive dual between these division rivals.

Let’s all pour one out for the FOX interns who had to make Garoppolo vs. Brady graphics last week just to see Jimmy get hurt before the rematch with his “Mentor”. Now instead they get to work double time and research every single thing they can find on QB3 Brock Purdy and somehow make some relatable content. When reporters asked various Niner staff and players about young Purdy they all had one thing to say, “He’s not lacking confidence” or as George Kittle put it “Cajones”. SF is going to need him to grow up quickly, playoff hopes are riding on the 22 year old’s arm. Down the stretch against a couple extremely tough run defenses over the next few weeks, godspeed Purdy. Brady had a hell of a comeback against the Saints on primetime and momentum seems to be going Tampa’s way. They’re still without star tackle Tristan Wirfs this week, but also seem to have hit a stroke of fortune with Nick Bosa sitting out practice all week due to a hamstring. We could be in for a bruiser with lots of rushing yards and rain in Santa Clara.

Kansas City Chiefs (9-3) @ Denver Broncos (3-9)
Lines: KC -9 / O/U 44
The Chiefs still being an offensive powerhouse without Tyreek Hill is infuriating. They lead the league in yards and points scored, and Travis Kelce is 32 yards away from his 7th straight 1,000 yard season. The Broncos have been purely horrific to watch, and are clearly one of the NFL’s biggest “primetime regrets” this year as they are the first to get flexed out of one. Russell Wilson has been abysmal all season, with just 8 passing TD’s through 11 games. He’s been sacked the third most in the league and his Broncos are dead last in points per game. I think the worst part of it all is how amazing Denver’s defense has been, ranking in the top 5 of almost every major category.

Miami Dolphins (8-4) @ Los Angeles Chargers (6-6)
Lines: MIA -3 / O/U 53
The headliner for highest over/under of the weekend goes to the first schedule flex of the season, Tua vs. Herbert on Sunday Night. Expect fireworks early in this one, especially after the Dolphins demoralizing second half last week where Tua struggled to find rhythm. The Chargers are nowhere near where they expected to be after 12 games, finding themselves just outside of the playoffs and dealing with devastating injuries on defense. Two major pieces of their secondary in Bryce Callahan and Derwin James are both expected to be out on Sunday Night. Both of these teams are already in the bottom 7 of points allowed, add the injury report to that and it sure looks like we’re in for a track meet.

New England Patriots (6-6) @ Arizona Cardinals (4-8)
Lines: NE -1.5 / O/U 43.5
Both of these teams had higher ambitions for this year, both have failed those expectations heavily. The Cardinals have been a dumpster fire defensively, giving up the 2nd most points per game this year. Weirdly enough they’ve been one of the best defensive 3rd down teams in the league, allowing the least conversions in the league. Controlling time of possession at home against a fierce Belichick defense is going to hold a lot of weight. New England needs to snap this two game dry spell, Kyler finally gets to fully utilize his talented receiver core on primetime, it's time for someone to “get right” on Monday Night.
