NFL Pick 'Em Week 3

Hand up.. I’m still recovering from the Browns collapse against the Jets. Week 2 was heartbreaking for multiple squads (looking at you Raiders) with 6 upsets across the board. We also have devastating news, Vince and Maher are still tied for 1st. It might be a small sample size to work with but I’m stunned the top 3 passers in the league right now are: Tua Tagovailoa, Carson Wentz, & Joe Flacco. The Giants are 2-0, the Broncos are averaging 16 points a game, and Cooper Rush just beat Joe Burrow, let's hope week 3 keeps it weird.

Green Bay Packers (1-1) @ Tampa Bay Bucs (2-0) || TB -1.5 / O/U 42

Ryan: Packers

Vince: Bucs

Maher: Packers

Patrick: Bucs

Nick: Bucs

James: Bucs

Zach: Bucs

Most considered the deepest WR room in the league to reside in Tampa, now they look like a modern day 2020 Saints squad due to injuries & suspensions. Realistically any game that features two solidified hall of famers needs to be on the Pick ‘Em. Based on body language alone, Aaron Rodgers still clearly hates all of his receivers. The Bucs have looked like an elite defense early against two respected offensive units, averaging just 6.5 points allowed per game. The line says it all here, two NFC juggernauts are facing and it’s going to be a nail biter.

Buffalo Bills (2-0) @ Miami Dolphins (2-0) || BUF -5.5 / O/U 52.5

On paper this game looks like a no brainer. Josh Allen and the Bills are clearly the best team in the league; they look like they are playing Madden on rookie with how they’ve been controlling these first two games. Don’t be fooled though, every superhero has their kryptonite and the Dolphins seem to be just that. The elite secondary and receiving corp for the Dolphins matchup really well against Buffalo’s pass heavy offense and young corners. This game could very well be an AFC playoff preview.

Detroit Lions (1-1) @ Minnesota Vikings (1-1) || MIN -6 / O/U 53

Defense, I’m giving the edge to the Lions. Sunday morning non prime time game, offensive edge to Kirk Cousins and the Vikings. All jokes aside, these two teams have been some of the funner teams to watch this year. Can Detroit keep rolling after their dominant win against Washington? Can Minnesota bounce back after an awful Monday Night performance in Philadelphia? The winner of this game can very well walk away with the NFC North this year.

Ryan: Vikings

Vince: Lions

Maher: Vikings

Patrick: Lions

James: Lions

Zach: Vikings

San Francisco 49ers (1-1) @ Denver Broncos (1-1) || SF -1 / O/U 44.5

Ryan: 49ers -1

Vince: Broncos +1

Maher: Broncos +1

Patrick: 49ers -1

Nick: Broncos +1

James: 49ers -1

Zach: 49ers -1

Has a team ever had more negative press within the first two weeks than this 49ers team. The fan base is divided beyond belief and Kyle Shanahan absolutely wants to murder a certain SI writer. Russell Wilson has to be grinning from ear to ear knowing he has the 49ers on primetime, sporting a 16-4 record all time against SF. We finally get a competitive Sunday Night game between two teams that don’t like each other despite being in different conferences, Jimmy revenge week? Probably not.

Dallas Cowboys (1-1) @ New York Giants (2-0) || NYG -1.5 / O/U: 39.5

Week 3 Monday Night kicks off with an NFC Least showdown. The Cowboys squeezed out a win over a concerning Joe Burrow led Bengals team and the Giants snuck out a couple of wins over some mediocre at best teams. On paper, this game looks like a snooze fest. I’m predicting the most punts out of any game this year thus far. Cooper Rush vs. Daniel Jones, winner heads to Canton.

Ryan: Cowboys +1.5

Vince: Over 39.5

Maher: Cowboys +1.5

Patrick: Giants -1.5

Nick: Giants-1.5

James: Over 39.5

Zach: Giants -1.5

Dawgs of the week:

Ryan: Texans ML

Vince: Jaguars ML

Maher: Texans ML

Patrick: Jets ML

Nick: Panthers ML

James: Cardinals ML

Zach: Texans ML
