Will Levis has come a long way since the green room debacle on Day 1 of the NFL draft. He has sparked some much needed energy into what was a lackluster Titans offense. Regardless, Tennessee is winless on the road and is going up against another gritty defense that is excellent at taking away the run game. The Bucs were on the opposite end of a thrill ride last week in a game that felt like a true coming out party for CJ Stroud. Lost in all of the rookie hype was Baker Mayfield leading an excellent drive in the 2 minute drill that gave the Bucs a lead late. The records are ugly for both of these teams but they’re still very much in the playoff hunt.

Detroit Lions (6-2) @ Los Angeles Chargers (4-4)

I never thought I’d type this out but.. The Lions are performing like a top 5 team in the NFL right now. Fresh off a bye Ben Johnson is going to have some creative looks, likely kickstarted by motioning their top weapons all over the field. This game reminds me of the feeling we had when the Bills and Dolphins squared off; lightning pace with a ton of points. The Chargers are dead last in passing yards allowed, and with their recent trouble in the secondary it doesn’t look like something that will change anytime soon. Surprisingly enough both teams are very stingy on third down with great opponent conversion %’s, whoever wins that down will come away with a W.

New York Jets (4-4) @ Las Vegas Raiders (4-5)

This game not getting flexed out is an abomination. The NFL must think Aidan O’Connell vs. Zach Wilson screams primetime, at least we get the Bills vs… Denver on Monday. Enough complaining, both of these teams hovering around .500 despite the injuries is impressive. I was going to go in depth and drop some stats for the people but I value my time and yours. Go Raiders.
