This is one of those weeks where close spreads are hard to come by and we found a unique opportunity to highlight some teams that aren’t expected to see a bulk of time on the center stage. Week 1 went just about how we all expected. The Raiders are in sole possession of the AFC West, the Cardinals had the 2nd most sacks in the league, and Baker Mayfield told Byron Murphy to "get that weight up little boy". Can’t wait for the normalcy to continue, here's our picks for week 2.

Green Bay Packers (1-0) @ Atlanta Falcons (1-0)

Spread: ATL -1.5 || O/U 40.5

Gotta love a prove it game this early on in the season. Both of these teams have been slated around 7-10 wins in the preseason predictions and both had emphatic week 1 victories. The Jordan Love era started off with a bang as the 2020 1st round pick facilitated LaFluer’s offense with ease. The entire fantasy football community wants Arthur Smith’s head on a spike and he’s just smirking back. The dual RB approach was dominant in their opener and some of their offseason acquisitions made an immediate impact (Looking at you Jessie Bates). We should see some gritty defense and a ton of backfield action in this one. Just remember, no matter who you start this Sunday, Arthur Smith absolutely does not care.

Vince: Packers

Ryan: Packers

Maher: Falcons

Zach: Packers

Pat: Packers

James: Packers

Nick: Falcons

Indianapolis Colts (0-1) @ Houston Texans (0-1)

Spread: HOU -1.0 || O/U 39.5

Let's just say it. This is an ugly matchup and both of these teams could very well finish with less than 5 wins on the year. Regardless it's a close game with two rookie QB’s who both went top 5. There’s also two rookie head coaches who were the top coordinators on their respective side of the football last season. The Colts turned some heads last week, taking a lead into the 4th quarter against the ascending Jaguars. They lost by 10 but hey, it was a much better game than we were anticipating. The Texans were about as disappointing as expected but we did see some flashes, and if you know anything about complimenting bad teams it starts with the “flashes”.

Vince: Texans

Ryan: Colts

Maher: Texans

Zach: Colts

Pat: Texans

James: Colts

Nick: Colts

Cleveland Browns (1-0) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1)

Spread: CLE -2.5 || O/U 38.5

Both of these division rivals have a high level defense and are praying they didn’t waste good capital on a QB. They’re also both coming off drastically different week 1 performances. Most of the national media had the Steelers upsetting the 49ers, and just about nobody had the Browns holding Joe Burrow to 82 yards. Cleveland isn’t a mystery on offense, they are going to run the ball down your throat and burn a ton of clock. They combined for 206 yards on the ground last week, finishing with the 3rd highest time of possession. Tomlin and the Steel Curtain need their play in the trenches to step up in a big way on Monday Night.

Vince: Browns

Ryan: Browns

Maher: Browns

Zach: Browns

Pat: Steelers

James: Browns

Nick: Browns
