Upside Play Pick 'Em Week 4

Miami Dolphins (3-0) @ Buffalo Bills (2-1)

Spread: BUF -3 || O/U 53.5

Reminiscent of the Vikings/Chargers game we had last week, this one could be a thrilling shootout. We all saw what Mike McDaniels offense did to Denver, we didn’t hear enough about how dominant Buffalo was on the road against the Commanders. Sam Howell resembled a 5th round pick for the 1st time in his career, as the Bills forced 5 turnovers and held Washington scoreless for 59 minutes. Can’t help but feel like this is the game Miami has been waiting for, wanting to ensure the national media knows they’re real. If they can keep up their 500+ yard pace this week I can guarantee you they’ll crack the top 3 of most power rankings.

Baltimore Ravens (2-1) @ Cleveland Browns (2-1)

Spread: CLE -1.5 || O/U 39

Hell of a week for the Browns who up until today were unsure if Deshaun Watson could go this week and are now unsure if David Njoku can suit up due to a.. burned face? One of the more odd storylines we’ve seen this season but it is Cleveland so I honestly can’t say I’m surprised. The Ravens are somehow looking at another “next man up” themed season with injuries across the board, especially with their top offensive weapons. If Baltimore wants to hold their own they’re going to need prime Lamar Jackson to show up and get shifty against a consensus top 5 defense in the league.

Seattle Seahawks (2-1) @ New York Giants (1-2)

Spread: SEA -1 || O/U 47

The double Monday night game being stripped from us feels like a crime, at least we a 1 point spread in New York. The Seahawks entered the season with some loud hype after a strong draft class last year and a good one on paper in 2023. Geno Smith has been incredibly efficient since taking over under center for Seattle with his offense averaging 29 PPG this year. I’m still indifferent on what the Giants will be in 2023. Without Saquan this offense falls flat frequently, putting Brian Daboll in a tough spot trying to maximize a lackluster WR unit. New York will need to set the tone at home and force some mistakes after a long week of rest.
