Upside Play Pick 'Em Week 6

Seattle Seahawks (2-2) @ Cincinnati Bengals (2-3)

Spread: CIN -3 || O/U 45

One of the many simple pleasures in sports is when there becomes a game within the game. We’re going to get just that on Sunday with Ja’Marr Chase vs. Devon Witherspoon. While nothing outlandish or disrespectful has been mentioned in either lock room, DK Metcalf’s interview earlier in the week ensured a spotlight on the Seahawks rookie corner. The Bengals offense finally lived up to the hype last week in Arizona, putting up 34 points and dominating the time of possession. Seattle’s coming off a bye after putting up 32.7 ppg in their last 3, we’re expecting an efficient passing attack from both sides in one of the better matchups of the week.

New Orleans Saints (3-2) @ Houston Texans (2-3)

Spread: NO -1.5 || O/U 42.5

Both of these teams have been difficult to figure out after the first 5 weeks. The Saints clearly have an elite defense, allowing just 15 points per game with 9 turnovers forced. CJ Stroud has immediately lived up to the high draft stock, putting up massive numbers despite the Texans banged up O-Line and struggling run game. The 34-0 beatdown New Orleans put on the Patriots last week not only rejuvenated a floundering offense, but also kept their defense extremely fresh. The trenches will ultimately decide this on.

Dallas Cowboys (3-2) @ Los Angeles Chargers (2-2)

Spread: DAL -2.5 || O/U 51

As a 49er fan, last week's Sunday Night Football matchup rocked. “America’s Team” might think otherwise. The blowout on National TV was humiliating for the Cowboys and their star pass rushers post game assessment somehow made it worse. The good news is a very strong team is going to be playing pissed off on Monday Night. The Chargers are coming off a bye week with a couple of big time injuries weighing down their offense. The JC Jackson drama finally departing the locker room is huge, now A’Sante Samuel Jr. will be in the public eye more than ever. Dallas and its physical defense will need to recoup quickly and try to contain a top 5 QB on the road.
