Last week held some surprises for our team, the Packers got absolutely smoked, the 49ers showed a pulse taking down the Rams on Primetime, and the Panthers got beat up by the Bears in a defensive battle. We have a battle of the unbeatens this week as the Titans and Steelers square off in a huge matchup. Our MMA writer Zach held on to the head honcho honers in the standings this week after going 4-2. We're excited for another tough slate this week with plenty of opportunities to shake up the standings. If you want to check out our week 6 Pick Em' click the link below!

Current Standings:

#1 Zach (22-12)

#2 James (21-13)

#3 Maher (21-13)

#4 Vince (20-14)

#5 Ryan (19-15)

#6 Patrick (18-16)

Pittsburgh Steelers (5-0) @ Tennessee Titans (5-0)

Current Lines: Titans -1.5 / O/U 50.5

The battle of the unbeatens! The Steelers defense has been a wagon through 5 games as they have allowed the 2nd least YPG, as well as the 3rd least PPG. A star could be emerging in their wide receiver corps as Chase Claypool has 5 TD’s in his last two games. The Titans have the best running back in the league right now, Derrick Henry leads the league with 588 yards on the ground, 83 more than the next closest rusher, as well as 6 TD’s and 4.7 YPC. The Titans offense is second in the league with 32.8 PPG and 423.2 YPG. This is a great offense vs a great defense and the battle in the trenches between Derrick Henry and the Steelers front 7 will be fun to watch.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-2) @ Las Vegas Raiders (3-2)

Current Lines: TB -4.0 / O/U 52

The Bucs are coming off of a huge 38-10 victory over the Packers, their top ranked defense made Aaron Rodgers look terrible last sunday as he threw two picks and could only get 160 yards. The Bucs give up the least amount of rushing yards per game at just 64.3, this will be a good true test from Josh Jacobs and the Raiders O-line. We’re all pumped to see what Antonio Brown brings to this offense when his suspension is over, the weapons are already deep in Tampa as Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Gronk are all at Brady’s disposal. The Raiders have secured a couple signature wins this season already against the Chiefs and Saints and seem to have a swagger about themselves when entering big games. Gruden’s offense is pumping out over 400 yards a game and Derek Carr has gotten the job done so far this year with 11 TD’s and just 1 interception. There is currently Covid concern on the Raiders side, but if both teams can put out a full healthy squad we’re in for a hell of a matchup.

Carolina Panthers (3-3) @ New Orleans Saints (3-2)

Current Lines: NO -7.0 / O/U 49.5

The story of the week is the lack of WR depth for the Saints heading into week 7 as both Michael Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders have been ruled out. The Saints, despite missing Thomas for most of the year, have put up the 5th most PPG in the league at 30.6. Kamara has been a fantasy monster with 7 total TD’s and lead’s the league in all-purpose yards at 720 through 5 games. The Panthers have been a mystery this year as most expected them to crumble while All-Pro RB Christian Mccaffrey has been sidelined, but they have been solid since then with a 3-1 record. Robby Anderson has been a pleasant surprise for Carolina as he is 2nd in the league in receiving yards with 566 and 4th in receptions with 40 catches through 6 games. The Panthers defense has allowed just 218.8 YPG to opposing QB’s, Kamara is going to have to have himself a game if the Saints want to improve to 4-2.

Vince: Panthers

Seattle Seahawks (5-0) @ Arizona Cardinals (4-2)

Current Lines: SEA -3.5 / O/U 55.5

The top offense in the league so far is headed to Arizona as the Seahawks get ready to face the cardinals in the battle of the birds. Russell Wilson and his Seahawks have the most PPG so far this year at 33.8, Wilson himself has an insane 19 TD’s through the air in just 5 games played. DK Metcalf has been a huge boost to this offense as he’s averaging 22.5 yards a reception and has 5 TD’s on the year. The Cardinals look to expose the terrible pass defense of Seattle with their new weapon, Deandre Hopkins. The Seahawks give up the most yards a game at an astonishing 471.2. They are going to have their hands full with top fantasy scorer Kyler Murray and the league leader in receptions, Deandre Hopkins. Cardinals are coming off a stomping of Dallas on Monday Night Football and look to continue their prime time game success on Sunday night.

Vince: Seahawks

Chicago Bears (5-1) @ Los Angeles Rams (4-2)

Current Lines: Rams -6.0 / O/U 45

The Bears are somehow 5-1, I mentioned it in our Power Rankings segment, Chicago doesn’t make it look pretty but they get the job done. The stats offensively are terrible as they’re 28th in YPG, 27th in PPG, and 29th in rushing YPG. Their defense has been great this year giving up just 19.3 PPG, Khalil Mack has been a leader for them with 4.5 sacks on the year while being double teamed most of the time. Allen Robinson leads the league in targets and could be a major factor if Nick Foles finds a rhythm. The Rams have also had a dominant defense so far in 2020 as they rank 4th in yards allowed and 5th in points allowed. Jared Goff hasn’t had the dominant start his contract suggests he should as he’s been a very middle of the road guy despite two solid WR’s in Kupp and Woods. Aaron Donald got bottled up last week by the SF O-line but still leads the league with 7.5 sacks through 6 games this year. The oddsmakers set the over/under at 45, we’re expecting a defensive battle on Sunday.
