Upside Play's Week 6 NFL Pick Em'

Writer's picture: Ryan MobleyRyan Mobley

Minnesota Vikings (2-3) @ Carolina Panthers (3-2)

Even // O/U 46.5

James: Panthers

Maher: Panthers

Zach: Panthers

Ryan: Vikings

Patrick: Panthers

Nick: Panthers

Vince: Vikings

The Panthers have been off to a very hot start but the past few weeks have cooled down. However, they are at home this game and fielding a defense that ranks 2nd in total yards and 3rd in points per game. These two offenses are very evenly matched and both feature great receiving squads led by Justin Jefferson and DJ Moore. Minnesota is 0-2 on the Road while Carolina is 2-1 at Home. Christian McCaffrey is out for this game, but Dalvin Cook is active and ready to bounce back.

Los Angeles Chargers (4-1) @ Baltimore Ravens (4-1)

BAL -3 // O/U 52

James: Chargers

Maher: Chargers

Zach: Chargers

Ryan: Ravens

Patrick: Chargers

Nick: Chargers

Vince: Ravens

Two of the top offenses are ready to clash in a massive week 5 matchup. Former MVP Lamar Jackson is coming off a historic performance totaling over 500 yards in their OT victory. Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler have both been Top 6 options at their position in fantasy, and both of these defenses give up 23 a game. Get ready for a potential playoff showdown in Baltimore.

Arizona Cardinals (5-0) @ Cleveland Browns (3-2)

CLE -3 / O/U 49.5

James: Cardinals

Maher: Cardinals

Zach: Cardinals

Ryan: Browns -3

Patrick: Browns

Nick: Browns

Vince: Browns

We love this NFC West and AFC North Showdown Sunday. The Cardinals have caught everyone by surprise with their scorching hot start. Posting 430 yards a game and 31 points per game with Kyler Murray looking like an early MVP candidate. The Browns have shown us to be a very well balanced team posting 435 total yards a game and leading the league in rushing with 187 yards per game. No Nick Chubb for this match up, but the Cardinals will be without their main play caller and head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

Cowboys (4-1) @ Patriots (2-3)

DAL -3.5 // O/U 51.5

James: Cowboys -3.5

Maher: Cowboys -3.5

Zach: Cowboys

Ryan: Cowboys

Patrick: Cowboys -3.5

Nick: Cowboys -3.5

Vince: Cowboys -3.5

One of the more shocking spreads of the week kicks off in New England this Sunday. The Cowboys top 5 run defense will force Mac Jones to throw, and the league leader in INT’s Trevon Diggs won’t make that easy. The Patriots tout a solid pass defense that only gives up 200 pass yards per game. The unpredictable weather in Foxborough could make this a classic Zeke / TP game.

Seahawks (2-3) @ Steelers (2-3)

PIT -5 // O/U 42.5

James: Seahawks

Maher: Steelers

Zach: Steelers -5

Ryan: Steelers

Patrick: Steelers

Nick: Steelers

Vince: Steelers

The Hawks took a crushing blow last Thursday when their star QB suffered an ugly finger injury that will keep him sidelined for multiple weeks. Veteran backup Geno Smith steps into a tough role against a fiesty Pittsburgh defense. Big Ben has had trouble facilitating this offense as they’ve put up just 18.8 points per game, the 6th least in the league. Steelers enter as 5 point favorites.

Bills (4-1) @ Titans (3-2)

BUF -5.5 // O/U 54

James: Bills

Maher: Bills

Zach: Bills

Patrick: Bills

Nick: Bills

Vince: Bills

Ryan: Bills

Is there any team in the league hotter than the Buffalo Bills? They’re on a 4 game winning streak, and have been beating their opponents by an average of 28.75 points per game (115+ point differential). Josh Allen is the current #1 candidate for this year's MVP. The Titans are one of the most hard to read teams this year, as they have a positive record but also have a nasty loss to the 1-4 Jets. AJ Brown and Julio have had lingering health issues, so King Derrick Henry will be essential if Tennessee wants to steal a W this weekend.
