We are locked and loaded for week 4 as we’re going to see a couple unbeaten teams get their first real test of 2021. The team has struggled thus far compared to last year, and this week's slate won’t be any easier. As always check out our Twitter @TheUpsidePlay for daily fantasy advice and content!
Carolina Panthers (3-0)@ Dallas Cowboys (2-1)
Lines: DAL -4.5 / O/U 51.5
James - Dallas
Maher- Dallas -4.5
Patrick: Panthers
Vincenzo: Dallas
Ryan: Dallas
Zach: Dallas
Nick: Panthers
The Panthers are gearing up for their first true test of 2021, facing some real adversity with key pieces like Jaycee Horn and Christian McCaffery out for this week 4 matchup. Darnold has done his job thus far controlling the clock and letting this dominant defense set him up for success.
Dallas has been rolling since their last second week 1 loss to the defending champs. The dynamic backfield duo of Ezekial Eliott and Tony Pollard has been giving opposing defenses major problems. A high powered offense vs a very stingy defense is going to make for a fantastic early matchup.
Arizona Cardinals (3-0) @ Los Angeles Rams (3-0)
Lines: LAR -4.5 / O/U 54.5
James - Cardinals
Maher- Rams
Patrick: Rams
Vincenzo: Rams
Ryan: Rams
Zach: Rams
Nick: Rams
It’s time to lock in for the battle of the unbeatens and the top of the NFC West. Kyler Murray and his Cardinals have rallied in multiple games to lead to this solid early record. Arizona currently has the second most yards per game and most points per game through the first 3 weeks. This Rams squad is currently sitting on top of our power rankings as Stafford and McVay have found major success in the young season. The weapons are limitless for this LA team and if their defense can stay healthy they have a real shot at making a deep playoff push.
Baltimore Ravens (2-1) @ Denver Broncos (3-0)
Lines: DEN -1 / O/U 45.5
James - Ravens
Maher- Ravens
Patrick: Broncos
Vincenzo: Ravens
Ryan: Ravens
Zach: Ravens
Nick: Ravens
Teddy and the Broncos are getting their first legit test of 2021 after facing 3 current winless to start the year. Regardless you can’t take away the effort that this Broncos team has put forth thus far, dominating defensively and completely controlling the time of possession in each game. Bridgewater is a classic game manager, the pairing with this defense has produced a hot start in Denver. Baltimore escaped a massive upset last week in Detroit after Justin Tucker nailed the longest field goal in NFL history as time expired. The Ravens are now on a 2 game win streak and Lamar’s RPO ability seems to get more and more natural as we go. Denver's first real test will be a fun one this Sunday.
Tampa Bay Bucs (2-1) @ New England Patriots (1-2)
Lines: TB -7 / O/U 49
James - Bucs -7
Maher- Bucs
Patrick: Bucs
Vincenzo: Bucs -7
Ryan: Bucs
Zach: Bucs -7
Nick: Bucs
This game is going to flood the headlines as Brady is set to meet Belichick in Foxborough this week, Brady’s first time back in New England since cutting ties with the franchise. New England has done a fantastic job defending the pass this season, allowing the second least amount of receiving yards in the league while limiting teams to just 1 passing TD a game. Mac Jones is in for a tough contest against this Tampa front line. The rookie hasn’t dazzled thus far, Jones has played it safe thus far with nearly half of his attempts being targeted to his RB’s & TE’s. Sunday Night could get ugly fast this week.
Las Vegas Raiders (3-0) @ Los Angeles Chargers (2-1)
Lines; LAC -3 / O/U 52
James - Chargers
Maher- Raiders
Patrick: Chargers
Vincenzo: Raiders
Ryan: Chargers -3
Zach: Chargers
Nick: Raiders
The 3-0 Raiders continue their tough opening schedule on Monday Night Football with a bout against a AFC west rival Chargers team who is coming off a huge statement win over KC in week 3. This Raiders team is playing great football right now and is finding ways to win late in games behind early MVP candidate Derek Carr. This game, however, is arguably their toughest test as Las Vegas hasn’t seen a team as well rounded as the Chargers yet. Justin Herbert is showing us that his record setting rookie year wasn’t a fluke and that he’s here to stay. With his great weapons like Keenan Allen, Austin Ekeler and breakout wide receiver Mike Williams, they are sure to test the Raiders young secondary. The Matchup to look forward to in this game is Darren Waller going up against Derwin James. There aren't many safeties who can contain Waller but we haven’t seen him go up against the All-Pro James before. This game will show who is for real in the AFC West and under the bright lights of MNF we should see a ton of fireworks.
Indianapolis Colts (0-3) @ Miami Dolphins (1-2)
Lines: MIA -2.5 / O/U 43
James - Colts
Maher- Colts
Patrick: Colts
Vincenzo: Colts
Ryan: Miami
Zach: Colts
Nick: Colts
We could see a couple back ups go head to head as the 0-3 Colts head to Miami. Indy has been injury riddled all season as they’re expected to be missing 5 starters in this week 4 matchup. Their starting QB hasn’t officially been announced but we could potentially see rookie Sam Ehlinger under center this week. Miami lost an OT thriller last week to Vegas, Jacoby Brissett was extremely underwhelming, throwing for 215 yards and 0 TD’s. This is going to be an ugly one, but the spreads close so it made this weeks pick em.
