Well we’re almost halfway through the season and one thing is certain, absolute locks in 2021 just don’t exist. The Bengals have looked unstoppable lately and they got torn apart by practice squad legend Mike White and the Jets. The Broncos and Panthers both started off 3-0 and now find themselves at .500 with playoff hopes looking slimmer and slimmer as the weeks go on. The all mighty Chiefs are 4-4 after sneaking out a 3 point win against the New York Giants who were missing Saquan and Golladay. This year has kept everyone on their toes and makes ranking squads extremely difficult, that being said here is my 100% accurate power rankings list.. 0 flaws, guaranteed.
Who’s Climbing: Dallas Cowboys
I feel like every team looking to go on a deep run always hits one major stage of adversity or one prime time game where the odds are against them and they silence the critics. That was week 8 for the Dallas Cowboys. They were left without QB1 Dak Prescott and backup Cooper Rush stepped in and managed a great game to give the Cowboys a W. Rush finished with 325 yards, a couple TD’s and 1 turnover in the primetime victory over the Vikings who featured a pretty solid defense thus far in 2021. This Dallas run D has been surprisingly sturdy and they have proven their well balanced offense can hang with the best of them when healthy, a 6-1 start out in Texas has to have fans ready for some playoff action.
Who’s Crashing: Cleveland Browns
The injury riddled Browns have been let off the hook one too many times this season as we’ve watched their passing offense turn stagnant in 2021. They heavily rely on their O-line and Nick Chubb and co to be successful. In today’s NFL you need to be able to stretch the defense and take off the top and the Browns haven’t been able to do it so far. They’re averaging just 13.6 points per game in their last 3 contests. They’re going to need a big win over the 5-3 Bengals this Sunday to stay relevant and keep their fans in the stadium.
Side Note: The Titans would be a few spots higher if they didn't lose the top RB in the league,
