We're back for the week 5 installment of out Pick Em' and we had a rough outing this Thursday as Tom Brady forgot what down it was and the Bears upset the Bucs 20-19. For those keeping score at home that's Nick Foles: (2) The Goat: (0). We have another new Head Honcho this week, making it back to back weeks with the leaderboard having significant changes. This week we still are waiting to see if some matchups are going to be postponed due to Covid-19, we still got all the original primetime games on the slate. Another week goes by and we're still above that .500 mark, if you want to check out our Week 4 Pick Em' click the link below.

Current Standings:

#1 James (15-8)

#2 Zach (15-8)

#3 Ryan (14-9)

#4 Maher (14-9)

#5 Patrick (13-10)

#6 Vince (13-10)

Buffalo Bills (4-0) @ Tennessee Titans (3-0)

Current Lines: N/A

This is a question mark game as they are currently listed to be playing Tuesday afternoon but with so much uncertainty with the Titans Covid-19 status there is a good chance we don’t see this game played in week 5. If it does get played its going to be a thrill ride watching young MVP contender Josh Allen go against this top ranked Titans defense. Allen and his Bills have the second most passing yards per game at 316.3, 30.8 points per game, and a top 3 offensive rank. The Titans haven’t played in over two weeks now, from what we have seen they are a well rounded club led by workhorse Derrick Henry and a solid defense. Henry is averaging over 100 yards per game, he’ll be getting a good test against the 8th ranked Rush D. in Buffalo.

James: Bills

Vince: Titans

Zach: Bills

Patrick: Bills

Ryan: Bills

Maher: Bills

Indianapolis Colts (3-1) @ Cleveland Browns (3-1)

Current Lines: Even / O/U 48

The Browns have found life after being stomped by Baltimore in week 1 as they’ve won their last 3 and scored a bunch in the process. They’re the number 1 rushing team in the league so the loss of Nick Chubb is going to force Baker to step up and be more consistent as he currently has a 62.6 Completion % (Not Good). To add on losing elite RB Nick Chubb he’s also facing the #1 ranked Colts defense this week. The Colts give up the least amount of points per game at just 14.0, they also feature a ballhawk secondary who has a league high 7 interceptions. This is going to be a slugfest and one of the closest matchups of week 5.

James: Colts

Vince: Browns

Zach: Browns

Patrick: Colts

Ryan: Colts

Maher: Colts

Carolina Panthers (2-2) @ Atlanta Falcons (0-4)

Current Lines: ATL -2.0 / O/U 53.5

This NFC South Matchup is always a fun one. Atlanta could be without WR Julio Jones which would obviously be a huge hit for the Falcons offense. Calvin Ridley put up a 0/0 stat line last week but has had a really good season so far and he’s shown he is the WR of the future in Atlanta. Carolina will be without Christian McCaffery for at least another week but they are 2-0 without him and have looked like a much better offense under first year head coach Matt Rhule. Carolina’s offense is clicking with Robby Anderson having a breakout year we all have been waiting for and they still have yet to get DJ Moore going. Teddy Bridgewater had a huge game last week and we should see him have another big game against the Falcons defense who is giving up 448 total yards per game and 329 passing yards per game. This Rivalry has been nothing short of entertaining and I don't see that changing this week.

James: Falcons

Vince: Panthers

Zach: Falcons

Patrick: Panthers

Ryan: Falcons

Maher:Panthers

Minnesota Vikings (1-3) @ Seattle Seahawks (4-0)

Current Lines: SEA -7.0 / O/U 57

The Seahawks defense has been nonexistent allowing teams to score over 23 points every week so far, but does it even matter? Russell Wilson is playing better than we’ve ever seen so the defenses struggles aren't really talked about. DK Metcalf is tied for first in the NFL in receiving yards with 403 yards and he looks to be the next great wide receiver in the NFL. Kirk Cousins has been good this season and with Dalvin Cook, Adam Theilen and emerging young WR Justin Jefferson the Vikings could see a lot of success against the Seahawks swiss cheese defense. If it comes down to a shootout between Russ and Cousins I think we all know who would win that.

James: Seahawks

Vince: Seahawks

Zach: Seahawks

Patrick: Seahawks

Ryan: Seahawks

Maher: Seahawks

Los Angeles Chargers (1-3) @ New Orleans Saints (2-2)

Current Lines: NO -8.5 / 50.5

The Chargers are a better team than their 1-3 record shows and even without Austin Ekeler they still have an offense that can score in bunches. Michael Thomas could play this week which would be a welcome sight to Drew Brees and the Saints offense. Alvin Kamara has been incredible this season with 236 yards and 4 tds rushing and 30 catches for 321 yards and 3 more tds through the air. This is an intriguing matchup since it could be Justin Herbert’s coming out party on National TV or it could be Drew Brees and the Saints putting a beating on the organization that drafted him.

James: Saints

Vince: Chargers

Zach: Saints

Patrick: Saints

Ryan: Saints

Maher: Saints
