Teams on a Bye
- Las Vegas Raiders
- Los Angeles Chargers
- New Orleans Saints
- Seattle Seahawks
Starts of the Week
QB- Ryan Fitzpatrick vs Jets
Fitzpatrick is cooking right now with 4 straight 20+ point games and now gets the Jets who have given up 2+ touchdowns to 4 Quarterbacks and 300 yards to two of those QB’s this season. “FitzMagic” looks to be fighting off Tua for the starting role but Fitzpatrick has been great this season and has an excellent opportunity to keep that going this week.
WR- Kenny Golladay @ Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are allowing the 13th most Fantasy Points to opposing Wide Receivers. Coming off the Bye and two games with 15 targets 119 yards and 2 touchdowns Kenny G is over the injury that had him miss the first two games so with this plus matchup he is a locked and loaded WR1 this week.
RB- Alexander Mattison vs Falcons
The Falcons Defense can’t stop any one. They are giving up over 32 points to opposing RBs. Dalvin Cook is out for this game and after he was knocked out of last week's game, Alexander Mattison carried the ball 20 times for 112 yards. We will see Mattison early and often in this game and we should see a loaded stat line.
TE- TJ Hockenson @ Jaguars
Everyone knows the Tight End landscape is hurting if you don’t have Kelce, Jonnu Smith, Waller or Andrews but a lot of people aren’t talking about TJ Hockenson. The Second year Tight End has played more than 63% of snaps and has more than 4 targets in every game this season. Hockenson has scored over 9 PPR Fantasy Points in every game so far with 2 TDs on the year. He is involved in the offense and that has made him a consistent option this season.
Sits of the Week.
QB- Joe Burrow @ Colts
Joe Burrow has shown us that he is going to be a great NFL Quarterback but the Colts Defense is legit and is only allowing 10.7 points per game to opposing QB’s. There really isn’t a reason to start Burrow in 1 QB leagues and you can stream the position pretty easy this week.
WR- Terry McLaurin @ Giants
Giants Corner James Bradberry has been great this season and shut down Cowboys WR Amari Cooper last week. Washington is starting QB Kyle Allen this week and this could be a very ugly game.
RB- Mark Ingram @ Eagles
The Eagles Defensive Line is good and Ingram (33%) is splitting snaps with Gus Edwards (32%) and J.K Dobbins (35%) and Ingram is only averaging 9.6 touches per game. There just isn’t enough volume there that you can rely on. Ingram is now just a Touchdown dependent Flex.
TE- Zach Ertz vs Ravens
Looking to get right after a 1 catch for 6 yard game isn’t going to be easy against the Baltimore Ravens Defense. Ertz doesn’t look like the dominant TE we once saw and even with all the injuries to the Eagles pass catchers it will be very hard to trust Ertz in any capacity in this game.
Sleeper’s of the week
QB- Kirk Cousins vs Falcons
Just like I talked about before, the Falcons can’t stop anyone. They are giving up 30 points per game to the QB position and Cousins has been pretty good this season. With weapons like Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen and Alexander Mattison, Cousins can pick apart this Falcons Defense. If you are looking for a QB this week Cousins is a strong option.
WR- Jamison Crowder @ Dolphins
Jamison Crowder isn’t the sexiest start in Fantasy Football but all he does is soak up targets and produce. In three games this season Crowder has 22 catches on 33 targets for 335 yards and 2 touchdowns. Flacco is starting in this game and we should see him target Crowder a lot in this game as well.
RB Cam Akers @ 49ers
Cam Akers is part of a committee in the Rams backfield but he is the most talented on and he showed last last week with a 46 yard run. The 49ers defense is hurting and gave up 40+ points to the Dolphins last week. This could be the week Akers takes a stranglehold on the Rams Backfield.
TE: Trey Burton vs Bengals
You know the Tight End Landscape is hurting when Trey Burton is in a Fantasy Football article. Rivers targeted him 11 times in two games and looks to be involved with Mo-Alie Cox being ruled out. If you are in need of a TE Burton will be a decent option with limited upside.
