Week 9 What We Learned+ TheGood, The Bad, The Ugly

Another week is in the books. How is your favorite team looking? Steelers fans are loving life, Bucs fans are scratching their head, Dolphins fans are optimistic of the future, and the Jets fans have switched their attention to the New York Red Bull’s Soccer Club in hopes of a victory.

As we approach the second half of the season, there shouldn’t be too many more surprises. Teams that have been making it happen will continue to make it happen and teams that are struggling will more than likely continue to struggle, like the Chargers who will continue to play great games and lose in heartbreaking fashion.

Let’s take a look at what we learned this week.

Jerry Jeudy and the rest of the Broncos young talent is looking promising. Drew Lock threw the ball well in the loss against the Falcons as well as led the team in rushing yards. Jeudy was very active, proving he was worth the high value pick. Although they have a lot to work on, this team has proved they have the young franchise talent to build around. It will be exciting to see how they play if these young stars can get the help that they need.

The Buccaneers have a lot to figure out before being considered elite. Although every team has off weeks here and there, the ugly Sunday Night loss against the Saints is sure to scratch some heads. With all of the weapons on the offensive side, it is hard to justify scoring only 3 points to a defense that has been mediocre at best. On the defensive side, there is no excuse allowing 31 points in the first half. The Buccaneers have a tough schedule ahead which will definitely show the world who they really are.

We were lucky to see the Dolphins and Cardinals have a shootout of young talent. This was a really great game to watch when thinking of the future of the NFL. We saw two young and agile quarterbacks spreading the field and getting after it. On the other side of the ball, the Dolphins defense was making noise. The Dolphins have 20 sacks on the season as well as 13 turnovers. Miami has great potential with a defense that is designed to compete against the NFL’s pass heavy offense making them a team to keep you eye on in the future.

Josh Allen is a franchise quarterback. The day after the unfortunate passing of his Grandmother, Allen went on an absolute tear against the Seahawks going 31/38 for 415 yards and 3 touchdowns. With the right weapons and coaching, this guy can take the Bills deep into the playoffs.

Now let’s take a look at which players can take you deep into the fantasy playoffs with Week 9’s The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
